When my daughter Alexis was 14 she adopted a fabulous teacup Chihuahua named Twink. She truly fell in LOVE with this dog, they were inseparable. Unfortunately Twink became ill and after many heart wrenching seizures she eventually passed away. This literally broke our hearts. Alexis was devastated. I had an idea that if I could get her interested in writing a story about her adorable Twink it might help Alexis through her depression. I illustrated while we both talked about what should be on each page. This was very therapeutic and made her feel Twink would live on forever. I am in the process of submitting the book to many publishers but will self publish soon as well. It will be available here on this blog. Alexis is now 19 and away at college. Since we began this journey with Twink it has evolved over the years into many more fashionista doggie paintings and stories. The writings on this blog are more for grown ups but the childrens book will be available here too. Writing each day about Twink, Ms M and her BFF has been more fun then I can express. I hope you enjoy this blog and please feel free to follow me. When I post new writings and paintings you will be notified through your email. I will also be listing more merchandise as it becomes available. You may purchase Giclee prints of the paintings you see here on my blog. Cards, Calendars, pillows and T-shirts coming soon!

Oh my gosh! I laughed my head off. I would have loved a seat at the
Pre-Thanksgiving table and privy to the Bff and Ms M chatting it up. Twink is to die for, seriously! She is so Rachel Zoe with her fashion genius. I love it!!!!
